What we mean by sustainability

For us, sustainability means consciously shaping the present and future and taking responsibility for the environment, society and the economy. Every company has a different impact on its surrounding context. That is why sustainability must be tailored to individual needs and specific to each company.

As Bajaj Mobility, we value social sustainability. We want to be a reliable employer for our employees and offer them prospects for training and further education as well as professional development. In addition, we also attach great importance to safe workplaces and employee health. Our employees are an essential factor in successfully mastering the challenges of the future and taking on responsibility.

Our aim is to provide our customers with high-quality and safe products. We adhere to strict safety standards and continuously develop new technologies to further enhance safety, comfort and performance. In doing so, we focus on the quality of our products and increasingly try to involve our customers in decision-making processes.

We are gradually taking measures to reduce our impact on the environment. This includes both energy-saving measures and those in regard to circular economy. However, all these measures have one thing in common: they contribute to a reduction in our greenhouse gas emissions.

As a responsible and fair business partner, we respect people and their rights along our entire value chain and are committed to the principles of responsible, fair competition.

Why this is important to us

Sustainability is not only part of our claim as a European premium manufacturer – it is a central prerequisite for future success. Those who act responsibly today will ensure the quality of life and competitiveness of tomorrow.

Outlook

The 2025 financial year was a year of change for us. New organizational structures and changing regulatory requirements in the European Union have significantly shaped our approach to sustainability. In the course of this, the sustainability topics were realigned and structured.

With these findings, we are starting into the future to strategically develop sustainability – among other things by developing a comprehensive sustainability strategy.
